This cool website lets you take a virtual walk around different global cities — including Bangkok, Chicago, Delhi, Dubai, Hong Kong, Istanbul, and many more – while listening to local radio stations.
Choose to explore the city by walking, car, or train, and the time of day. You can even turn on street noises for a more immersive experience.

The creator of the website, John Ornelas explains his creation:
"One of my favorite things to do when exploring a new city is simply walking around, taking in sights, and listening to music in one ear & the sounds of the city in the other ear. As so many of us haven't been able to travel lately, I wanted to create a tool that might bring some of that explorative energy into our homes. I hope you get some enjoyment out of my site Travel Remotely!"

I spent a few hours "walking" in Tokyo and Bangkok already - really cool feature. They're also adding new cities weekly. I hope you all enjoy it!
One of the things I love about this website are the local radio stations. My favourite scene so far is New York City at night (by car) with jazz station WGBO FM... 🍕🗽 🎷
We need to invite these guys to visit our city :-)
This is amazing. And extremely distracting :)
Dangerously addictive, but so much better than surfing social media platforms. Plus I get to do people watching - a favourite pasttime.
This sounds amazing! What a creative way to virtually experience different cities and get a taste of their local atmosphere.
