Don't miss this LIVE webinar with special guest Thor Pedersen (as seen on CNN, The Washington Post, BBC, and more) – the only person in history to have visited every country (193+) in the world without flying.

We'll explore the following topics in this LIVE 1:1 interview with Thor:

• Why travel the world without flying?
• Navigating different modes of transport (including container ships!)
• How to prepare for longer, multi-month journeys
• What to do when things don't go to plan
• Less "touristy" places to visit (are there any?)
• Lessons learned from traveling to 193+ countries in the world
• Questions from the Travel Massive community

Following the interview, we'll be joined by Juliana Dever – a professional actor, experiential travel expert, and cultural tour curator. She’s traveled to more than 60 countries and lived in the USA, France, Russia & Greece.

On our panel discussion with Juliana and Thor, we will discuss:

• Why the travel and tourism spotlight needs to be on less-touristed destinations
• How tourism can aid in preserving cultural traditions
• Slow travel as a state of mind and how it can open doors
• Why human connection is the key to respectful, sustainable travel

Register to watch live on October 4, Wednesday, at 10am EDT / 4pm CET, with host Lucia Prieto (MEET Network). Recording will be available afterwards.

About Thor Pedersen

Danish traveler and adventurer Torbjørn C. Pedersen (Thor) made history on May 23rd by becoming the first person ever to visit every country without air travel. Over a decade, his “Once Upon A Saga” project took him across Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific using various modes of transportation. Onboard a container ship, he arrived in Male, the capital of the Maldives, marking his 203rd and final country. Thor, a Salomon ambassador, described the journey as “an incredible and challenging adventure that aimed to promote peace, understanding and cultural exchange while raising awareness about global issues”.
