(Almost) every destination I've been to (74 as I'm writing this) had something special: mesmerizing nature, warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, insightful history, impressive architecture... How can you choose just one?
Socotra in Yemen and Rapa Nui in Chile are two of the more remote destinations still on my travel bucket list.
My first travel job is still the one I do 7+ years later: co-founding and continuously developing Minimalist Journeys Ltd, a business and website that promotes alternative, more sustainable ways to live and travel.
Everything: historic figures and events (and what we can learn from them), what what makes people from different cultural backgrounds tick, foreign languages... Every day alive is a day of learning something new for me - one of the reasons why I love our lifestyle.
