Toronto Travel Massive

Toronto Travel Massive brings together travel bloggers, travel media, tourism boards, travel-tech startups, travel companies, OTAs, hoteliers, travel PR/marketers, professionals and entrepreneurs in the travel space to meet, share and connect; foster collaboration and build meaningful connections.

We host free, regular events run for the community by the community. Would you like to sponsor an upcoming event, be a guest speaker, or lead a workshop? Email: toronto@travelmassive.com.

💙 Special thanks to some of our past hosts & sponsors:

G Adventures, Contiki, Saint Lucia Tourism, Colorado Tourism, Travel Nevada, Visit Guadalajara, Tourism Ireland, Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel, YouTube Canada, Ontario Tourism, Tourism Toronto, Jamaica Tourism, Intrepid Travel, Urban Adventures, Booking.com, Google Canada, Skyscanner, Flight Centre, Olympus, Visit Florida, Visit Berlin, Visit Great Britain, German National Tourism, Czech Tourism, India Tourism, Curacao Tourism, Visit Panama, Air Transat, Colombia Tourism, Copa Airlines, KnowRoaming, SnapTravel, Project Spaces, and many more.

🎳 3-Strike no-show policy: Travel Massive events are free and often have limited capacity. No-shows prevent other people from accessing these events and can hurt our relationships with the event sponsors. The 3-strike policy exists to encourage respect for event organizers, partners, sponsors, and other members. All members are encouraged to release their tickets within the timeframe outlined on the event page but if they fail to do so and reach 3 event no-shows the member will not be able to attend any upcoming events for 3 months.

I just came across this training and thought it may prove helpful to travel industry business owners in our group.

Truth2Action TRAINING
The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC), in partnership with Legacy Bowes, is pleased to offer a reconciliation training program for non-Indigenous businesses and organizations in the tourism industry. The Certificate in Reconciliation for the Tourism Industry is a hybrid virtual and in-person program that provides a safe space for staff and board members to learn more about Indigenous perspectives and explore their role in furthering reconciliation.

There has been so much interest in the FIFA World Cup 2026 and what it will look like in Toronto. To help answer those questions, the city is hosting an Industry Briefing that I thought many in this group would find interesting. Register here for the Jan 30th Zoom event: destinationtoronto.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_aN3uL6YMQYaQkK17w1N3dA#/registration

Hello Toronto!

Whether you are new to Travel Massive Toronto or have been with us for years, our events are truly the heart of our community.

We put significant time and care into curating events alongside partners who bring real value, education, and meaningful connections to you. As 2026 gets underway, you may have already noticed some exciting opportunities to learn, network, and engage, and we are proud of the momentum building within our chapter.

With this growth comes a renewed focus on strengthening our membership and ensuring clarity around how we come together as a community.

To help us do this, all members are required to complete their Travel Massive profile.

Beyond simply filling in each section, your profile should clearly reflect what you do, or what you aspire to do, within the travel industry and include relevant social media and website links. Think of it as your professional calling card.

Why we are so adamant: Other members review profiles before attending in-person events to see who they would like to connect with. Our partners also rely on them for the same reason.

Your Toronto Chapter Leader team, Jasmin, Kateryna, and Rain, have spent a considerable amount of time reaching out to registered attendees whose profiles are missing photos, bios, or a clear industry context. While we are always happy to help, this process is time-consuming and challenging, especially as we are a volunteer team.

Please note that every event clearly outlines who it is intended for, whether media, trade, or both. This ensures our partners can reach the right audience and that you are attending events that can genuinely benefit you.

By keeping your Travel Massive page complete and up to date, you help us avoid the need to follow up or potentially unregister attendees whose profiles do not align with the event criteria.

We deeply appreciate everything you bring to the Travel Massive Toronto community and hope this helps everyone involved.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us at Toronto@TravelMassive.com.

Hi everyone! I’m the new CMO of Aurora Expeditions, an award winning, Expedition cruise company based in Australia. We’ve been around for 30+ years and are expanding our presence globally.

I’m actually based in Toronto, and am ex-G Adventures, so not completely new to travel.

I’m looking forward to meeting more of you to help me grow the Aurora brand across Canada, the US, and Europe.

Cheers

Hey Greg! I really enjoyed the Aurora presentation at the ACTA summit a few weeks back. I learned a lot about Aurora's position in the global (not just Antartica!) expedition space. Looking forward to connecting with you at one of our networking events!
