Hello! I'm Dorene, a tourism strategist, marketer, and coach with 25 years in marketing for small, midsize, and large companies and co-owner of Travel Life Media, a tourism marketing and video agency. With my editor, videographer husband; Troy,we live location- independent helping tourism brands with their marketing challenges and recently launched online marketing courses to complement our consulting and coaching and launched a Facebook community– Tourism Marketing That Works to better address the needs of tourism operators.

In my previous career life in Toronto, I was Head of Marketing Canada for Beam Global Spirits and Wine, and Head of Marketing at Labatt Breweries of Ontario, working on iconic brands such as Canadian Club, Macallan Scotch whiskey, Budweiser, and launched Stella Artois and Alexander Keith’s IPA across Canada.

I combine the best from my corporate experience with my tourism know-how to build purpose and profit marketing strategies for tourism clients in Canada, USA, India, Sri Lanka, Nicaragua, Colombia and wherever we travel.

I am co-leader for the Travel Massive Chapter in Medellin, Colombia where we live several months of the year. Troy and I also blog and vlog at Travel Life Experiences, to help others redefine their mid-life by making conscious changes in career, life, and travel.
