About me

Originally from Washington DC, I have been living in Budapest on and off (mostly on) for more than two decades.

I am one of the co-owners of Taste Hungary (an award-winning food and wine tour company) and Tasting Table Budapest (a wine tasting cellar and shop in Budapest’s Palace District). I also import fine Hungarian wine to the US.

I am also a food and travel writer, who has contributed to publications such as Saveur, Gastronomica, Afar, and The Globe and Mail. I am the author of the culinary guidebook “Food Wine Budapest” and the editor of the Taste Hungary blog.
