Hi, I am Susan Lee and doing some consulting in the DEI and the employment cycle in the travel industry.
Looking forward to learning about resources or links for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in the travel industry, if you would like to share. Thank you in advance.
Hi Susan. Great question.
Here's a couple of resources off the top of my head:
National Blacks in Travel and Tourism Collaborative Washington-based non profit organization for Blacks in travel and tourism.blacksintourism.org
We featured BTT last year here on Travel Massive:
Travel UnityA 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on increasing diversity in the world of travel.travelunity.org
Black Travel AllianceA professional non-profit organization 501(c)(3) created in 2020 to encourage, educate, equip and excel black travel professionals in education, media, and corporate positions.blacktravelalliance.org

Hope these help and looking forward to hearing others' suggestions.
Hi Ian, Thank you so much for these links. I will definitely review them.
Ian made a great list! I'd only add Nomadness Travel Tribe. The founder Evita Robinson did a massive survey which helped to update industry statistics to measure POC impact. nomadnesstraveltribe.com
Thank you Wanda for sharing. I’ll definitely review the survey.
I would second Ian's recommendations!
Also, for hospitality, here are few more women or DEI-focused organizations:
The Latino Hotel Associationlatinohotels.org
The Women in Hospitality Leadership Alliancewhlalliance.org
Global Disability Inclusionwww.globaldisabilityinclusion.com
Thank you Jeannette for the additional links. Much appreciated. Susan
I am just wrapping up this project. Here are some resources which may be of interest to you:
Thank you again for sharing your resources with me. Susan
I am building Exploryst.com, the "TripAdvisor for disabilities" platform to provide the details that people with disabilities require to confidently research and book their travel. Disabilities is unfortunately something that is routinely left out of the DEI conversation.
Very important initiative, Angela!
Thanks for sharing! — I'll DM you about featuring Exploryst on Travel Massive.
Angela - I love this. And very needed, I will definitely be checking this out for future travel planning with my mom!
Hi Susan you should check out this site for Asia Pacific region disability inclusion and access www.getaboutable.com
Hi Susan, do you work at GetAboutable? (If you do, please complete your profile)
We featured GetAboutable last year here on Travel Massive:
HI Ian, I am doing some consulting work with GetAboutAble. The team are very appreciative of your promotion of GetAboutAble services and expertise.
Hi Susan, Thanks for sharing.
