French Adult Cross Culture Kid who spent her time traveling when not moving between Germany and various US states. My passion is showing people around and making them feel at home, by integrating them into the fabric of the city (even if only for a little while), as I create a narrative tailored to their specific personality.
A member suggested I join. I create stories about the cities I live in and know intimately from angles that give people a view into the lives of those everyday locals who give the city its soul. So I would love to connect with fellow people like me and contribute to the projects I feel passionate about so we can create a better experience for those traveling.
A place where I can reconnect with myself, visit a past life, connect with the locals, and feel that I'm really and truly present. Any place that speaks to my soul.
Norway, New Zealand, Ethiopia, Israel, California, and any place that strikes my fancy at any given point in time.

Always stay open.

I was recently looking into merchandise for tour operators. We’ve all seen merch being offered as an add-on to a tour, and some really don't hit the mark. No, I don't want a postcard with your giant logo, but a fridge magnet with your excellent destination and your little logo in the corner, absolutely. As someone running food tours, I lean towards edible goodies, but then that's short-term with no trigger memory later. In comparison, metal re-usable straws would fit my ethos and have a long-term attachment value. Is anyone doing this? and if so, what do you offer? How are you selling it (through your website, end of the tour etc.)? Are you using something like Shopify to manage your inventory? I really appreciate any help you can provide 💜
Hi, I'm Averil Huck (new to this platform!) 👋 I'm a feminist tour guide in Prague, Czech Republic. I was wondering whether there were any other fellow guides focusing on feminist/queer history or other ethical topics. Should we start a new Topic specifically on these topics?
