I was born in Grassy Park (on the Cape Flats) in Cape Town South Africa. I have studied marketing and have worked locally and abroad in many marketing disciplines, including customer research, analytics, advertising and strategy.
In 2021, I left a corporate job at Mastercard to pursue a life-long dream of running my own business. I lived in London for 5 years and grew up with a childhood filled with family holiday experiences. These experiences led me to pursue a business idea in the local travel industry.
Over the past year, I've been building a brand called Beaglez where the big idea is to curate and market local experiences and bring them to people through an easy-to-use and intuitive online platform. Similarly, Beaglez aims to serve local tour guides and experience hosts by connecting them to travellers and making it easier to do what they love. Our vision is to give people an authentic travel experience rich in local storytelling.
