The Africa Rally team and I will be attending the World Travel Market (WTM) event in Cape Town (13-15 April), and wondering who else will be there. Keen to meet up and network.

We did a pretty detailed assessment of trade shows versus return at the end of last year, and WTM rated the highest. We actually cut ITB Berlin from our company schedule in exchange for more focus (and people) attending this one - so hoping it will be as good as last year!
I'm not sure who runs the Travel Massive Community in Cape Town, but if enough people are interested I'm sure we can setup a networking event for the Tuesday night. That way the buyers could attend as well.
Sounds good to me - do you have a stand number, or spot I can find you? Otherwise I'll be doing the speed networking on the Tuesday morning, and also the Monday night networking drinks at the Cullinan.

Debbie it sounds like a plan. I would actually like to hear more about the Responsible Tourism agenda - listening with an ear as someone who works closely with wine farm owners and see their efforts (although not enough) in this regard. I hope you’re coming to the Wine Tourism Conference in May☺️
