Currently running The Africa Rally, a charity road trip through Africa. Any vehicle welcome, South Africa to Malawi then up to Tanzania, or round to eSwatini.
I joined the community to have a chance to network with likeminded Founders within the travel space, bounce ideas off each other, and get inspiration for what else we can do with Africa Rally Group.
Favourite destination? This is rather mood and company dependent, however you can't go wrong with Wheelhouse Marina, Senga Bay, Malawi. Everyone should experience the warm waters, vibrant friendly culture, and great food that Malawi has to offer at least once in their lives.
Most of the obvious destinations have already been traveling to... I've a habit of living the dream rather than dreaming the dream... but experiencing carnival in Rio de Janero, or taking a drive around Cuba in a classic vehicle is still on the cards.
First travel job? Erm... can I say this one? I've never worked in travel prior to founding a travel company - I originally qualified in International Human Rights Law then ended up working in corporate Fintech for ten years!
Social media... I'm terrible at it, but learning fast... and hopefully our Instagram / Facebook accounts represent an unpolished honesty in the fact that although we are rough and ready, we are also genuine in what we are representing.
