I'm building a place to compare coliving spaces worldwide. Where do you go for trustworthy reviews?

Hi everyone 👋

I'm Daniel, founder of findyourcoliving.com, a platform that helps remote workers discover and compare coliving spaces around the world. You can filter by city, price, and amenities to find a place that actually fits how you want to live and work.

One thing I keep coming back to is that the hardest part of choosing a coliving isn't finding options. It's trusting them. And in my experience, nothing beats an honest review from a fellow digital nomad who has actually stayed there.

👉 So I'd love to hear from this community. Where do you go for trustworthy coliving reviews? Any platforms, groups, or people you rely on?

I'm keen to make these real experiences easier to find for everyone, so any pointers would be hugely appreciated. 🙏

Happy to answer questions about the platform too, and feedback is always welcome.

Hi Daniel, very interested in this platform - and don't forget us older nomads, too!
There is this rather cool, quite alternative space in Brandenburg, not far from Berlin coconat-space.com - you can build your online empire and then go feed the chickens! Best regards from Berlin, Zenaida

I agree with you, Zenaida, about not forgetting the older nomads. Ironic when younger people do forget because they're just perpetuating ageism that will hit them in a few years if they are lucky enough to be alive! Thanks also for the Berlin link. Looks interesting.

Hi Daniel - sounds like a good idea. Sorry I've not found any platform yet, so maybe you'll be it. Question: is this for long term housing or short term nomads? I know there are a few long term starting in the UK (not platforms, places). If I find the info, I'll post here.

This makes you the *third* Daniel with a coliving directory/marketplace, including another that's AI generated (but yours I'm afraid looks to have sourced incomplete data), to say nothing of all the others…

I can say with experience just having attended the coliving gathering that operators are fed up with adding and maintaining listings. Destinational is a tiny segment so low growth, and whilst residential is huge plus expanding rapidly, it is low churn so requires significant reach, but is already rather well covered by one of the other Daniels who's been at it quite a long time.🙈

It may be something close to your heart, but worth checking if there's actual potential and possibility to displace/claim or create adequate new growth before you invest further effort/tokens. There are actually coliving niches that are not covered but a niche within small segment is uh not a good addressable market, so must be close to your heart that you're willing to basically maintain it for free. There are opportunities but again it's a question of growing the segment, thus a small catch until.
