Hiroshima castle was the center of power for the samurais and the military which made this area the historical center of the city. It's one of the smallest castles in Japan, but has a lot of unique design features and appeal due to its A-bomb survivor trees, interesting stories and ruins and shrine inside the (keep) castle grounds.
