What a Night — I'm building a website that curates travel videos into a ready-made movie night

Hi everyone,

I’m Andor, the person behind the www.whatanight.tv app.

I started building it because I sometimes like to put together a travel-themed video evening for my family—either about a place we haven’t visited yet, or somewhere I have visited but didn’t manage to see everything.

What I didn’t enjoy was spending hours searching for suitable videos, comparing them, and trying to create a good selection across different categories. I wanted to see whether that part could be made easier.

If you have time to try the current version, I would really appreciate your honest feedback:

- Is it clear from the start what the site is for?
- Could you imagine using it for an evening with your family or friends?
- At what point, if any, does the experience become confusing or feel like too much effort?

I’m especially interested in whether this solves a real problem for other people, and what those of you with experience in travel and tourism think it could become.

Hi Andor, welcome and thanks for sharing your project with the Travel Massive community.

We ran an online "movie night" featuring videos from creators in our community a few years ago and it was a great success!

I would recommend changing the way you display destinations you don't have videos for yet - it took a bit of clicking to find Spain which seems to be the only complete destination.
