Creating this discussion thread for members to share information and resources about Booking's recent mass cancellation of affiliate partnerships. No doubt this will impact some of our members here, and not everyone is in those private blogging groups which have been discussing it.
Feel free to share resources, suggestions for other affiliate networks that you're moving to (such as Stay22, TP, CJ) and any other news to help members out.
For those of you outside the blogging sphere, here's a good blog article with a rundown of what has unfolded:

Hey everyone, thanks for starting this thread, Ian.
We’ve been hearing from a lot of travel bloggers since yesterday’s news, and feel for you! I can't imagine how disruptive this kind of change can be, especially when it hits with no warning. If you’ve been affected by Booking’s decision to close your affiliate account, just know there are still options.
Stay22 is an official Booking.com partner, and we’ve helped many creators keep their Booking.com links active with zero downtime and no manual updates.
Here’s what that looks like:
- Your existing Booking.com links keep working through our system
- No need to reapply or wait for approval
- You continue to earn commissions as usual
- Our Partner Success team is available to help with setup or questions
We’ve also seen a wave of new referrals lately. If you’re already a Stay22 partner, you can share your referral link and earn bonuses while helping others stay connected.
If anyone here wants to talk through how this works or get help getting started, just reply or send me a message. Happy to support however I can.
All the best <3
Travelpayouts also says they are not affected.
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to drop in here on behalf of the Travelpayouts team, since I know many of you have been affected by the recent changes at Booking.com. If you’re looking for a way to keep your Booking.com links active without having to manually update everything, we’ve set up a few tools that might help:
💙 LinkSwitcher – This lets you automatically convert your Booking.com links to Travelpayouts links in just a few clicks. It’s quick and saves you from redoing your content manually
💙 Increased commission – Booking.com is offering 5% commission through Travelpayouts (instead of the usual 4%)
💙All-in-one dashboard – Manage Booking.com and other top travel brands in one place. You’ll also get access to detailed content analytics (see which pages and links are converting best), and there’s no need to wait for separate payouts from different brands — all commissions are pooled and paid out together
💙 Responsive support – If you need help, our support team is here (and fast—our average response time is under 30 minutes).
We're seeing a lot of creators making the switch right now, and we’re doing our best to make that process as easy as possible for everyone.
If you have questions, need help setting things up, or just want to talk it through—feel free to tag me or message the team. We're here for you.
Bookinggeddon’ has hit hard. For many small publishers, bloggers, and independent travel businesses, Booking.com’s sudden decision to cancel thousands of affiliate partnerships feels like the rug has been pulled out from under them. These partnerships weren't just links — they were lifelines, built over years of trust and effort. While platforms have the right to pivot, the lack of warning or communication is disappointing. It’s a reminder of how vulnerable creators and entrepreneurs can be when relying too heavily on one source. Hopefully, this serves as a wake-up call to build more resilient, diversified income strategies — and perhaps a push for more ethical practices in affiliate management going forward."
It's always food to be updated on the most current affairs in booking of Accomodation.Thank you I appreciate this update.
Good topic, and maybe this is the right moment for smaller travel businesses to rethink their reliance on big platforms and start exploring tools that help them build direct, personal relationships with travelers. From my experience in B2B travel across different regions, the businesses that thrive are the ones that truly understand their clients and use tech to enhance that connection, not replace it. That’s also the mindset we followed when starting a small travel tech project recently, to bring back that human touch, but with smarter support.
