Hello everyone! 👋
I’m Gabby, founder of TRAppe, a platform providing travel options that are kind to the planet and good to its people ✌🏻
👉 Why we built it
Our Bali e-guide isn’t just a cute deliverable, it’s a living, breathing testing lab. Every download, click-through, and piece of feedback helps us dig deeper into the say–do gap in sustainable travel.
We all know the stat: while 93% of travellers say they want to travel more sustainably… only 58% actually change how they travel.
That gap, between intention and action, is what we’re obsessed with.
Because we believe if we can help close it, we can start shifting where the money flows and reduce tourism economic leakage in destinations.
So we turned Bali, everyone’s paradise-gone-overboard playground, into our first testing ground. Our thinking? If you’re already planning to visit Bali, you might as well do some good while you’re there, and spend your money where it matters.
👉 What the e-guide actually is
- 290+ pages
- 100+ curated stays, eats and experiences that are kind to the planet
- Pre-pinned Google Maps
- Ready-made itineraries to save travellers hours of doom-scroll research
- Community-curated & ever-evolving, readers can suggest new gems or flag green-washing. We update quarterly, so the guide literally grows with the community.
- Every purchase plants a coral through our partner Livingseas Foundation (www.livingseasfoundation.org).
What we learn here will shape the broader TRAppe platform, from upcoming Singapore and Japan e-guides to a future marketplace connecting conscious travellers with vetted experiences around the world (or at least, that’s the direction we’re heading… though, like any good startup, we might just end up pivoting)
👉 How you can help
- Download the preview or grab the full guide
- Poke holes and tell us what’s missing, what you don't like, we want real traveller feedback.
- Seriously, feel free to tear us apart :)
