Hello Toronto Travel Massive community,
House sitting is a great alternative to staying at hotels or holiday rentals. The concept is simple, while the owner is away a trusted house sitter stays at their home watching over things and likely caring for their pets. The practice of being an international house sitter not only allows you to save money but enables you to see different parts of the world through the eyes of a local, while traveling sustainably.
At this event, we will chat with experienced travelers and long standing Travel Massive members @annecayer and Ryan Tyler Thomas from Go Squab. Anne and Ryan will share their experiences, tips and tricks house sitting over the years.

Anne Cayer and Ryan Thomas are the founders of Go Squab, full-time travelers and international housesitters.
Since 2017 they’ve been on the road, doing what they love - discovering the world, experiencing new cultures and eating as much as possible along the way. While their travels have taken them across continents, their housesitting has helped them settle in. From spending six weeks in Southwest France with a flock of chickens to the month spent hiking the hills of Samos, Greece with a new puppy in tow, their sits are just as much of an adventure.
Anne and Ryan also run Go Squab, a digital marketing agency supporting clients across Canada with a focus on data-informed SEO and integrated digital media buying.
