I started to blog a few years back as a way to stay in touch with my friends and family back home while I traveled around the world with my soldier. So far we've lived on 3 continents and traveled to more than 60 countries.
Over time, duffelbagspouse.com evolved into a way for me to maintain a home base when everything else in my world is constantly changing. That’s the nature of the military lifestyle. This life is full of hellos and far too many goodbyes. And for that reason, community is very important to me.
We are getting ready to move back to South Korea next year. I am also planning long term trips to Africa and South America as well as walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. If you've done either, I'd be happy to hear from you.
