I spent over 14 years in hospitality and brand marketing, working across India, Dubai, and Sri Lanka with luxury restaurants. It was fast-paced, exciting, and deeply consuming; until it stopped feeling aligned with who I was.
Post-COVID, as the industry shifted and trends began to outweigh substance, I chose to step away from the hustle and rethink what truly mattered.
I gifted myself the freedom to travel and it gave me immense clarity.
Time spent in remote mountain villages and small communities showed me an India far removed from noise and stereotypes. A generous, grounded, and deeply human perspective.
That understanding led to UNFOLLOW.
I work with inbound travellers to challenge their idea of India. To take them beyond crowded tourist circuits and transactional experiences, and introduce them to a country that isn’t chasing their dollars, but offering something far more meaningful; connection, warmth, and amazing stories.
Through slow, people-led journeys into villages, heritage homes, and local communities, I curate experiences rooted in respect, dignity, and authenticity.
I believe travel can change perspectives.
And India, when experienced slowly, tells a very different story.

There is a quaint Himalayan town in the state of Uttarakhand in India. The name is Kasar Devi. It lies on a mountain ridge and is often linked to a geomagnetic zone associated with the Van Allen radiation belts. At the top of the hill, is the Kasar Devi Goddess Temple which helps you to harness the positivity of this geomagnetic zone. Its peaceful, powerful and a heavenly experience.
Like a true-blue Nomad, I wish to travel to every land on this beautiful planet. The list is endless.

Hi Nupur, I completely agree with your point. Slow travel often looks simple from the outside, but in reality it demands much deeper groundwork from the operator. Staying longer in one region means the experience has to hold the traveller’s curiosity... show more
Thanks for sharing that perspective. I completely relate to what you’re saying about travellers becoming more selective with their time. I’ve noticed something similar with repeat visitors. Many are not necessarily trying to “see everything” anymore. I... show more
For years, India itineraries have started with the Golden Triangle; Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. It still works well for first-time visitors. The history is powerful, the monuments are iconic, and the logistics are easy. But something interesting is happeni... show more
