About me

Christie Dietz is an IACP award-winning (2019) and YBF-shortlisted (2016) freelance food & travel writer originally from London but living in Wiesbaden, Germany, since 2010.

Christie's writing can be found in National Geographic Traveller (UK, US and India), The Guardian, Singapore Airline's magazine, Time Out, EATEN and Fodor's Germany guide (2016 and 2019 editions); she has also been featured in local and national German news publications including Die Welt and Sterne magazine.

Christie's blog, A Sausage Has Two, is the only Germany-based, English-language blog focusing on seasonal, regional German food and drink, culinary processes and traditions, and travelling Germany.

To foster relationships and partnerships with others keen to promote food, culinary traditions and responsible travel within Germany and its bordering countries.
