I created these videos (subtitled in English) to showcase the lesser-known gems of my own hometown, Lima Perú.
I was born in Lima and studied history at University, and I aim to shed light on the often-overlooked historical sites in the city. These places are not typically part of the tourist routes but hold immense historical value.
When it comes to visiting Peru, many travelers tend to skip Lima and head straight to popular tourist destinations like Machu Picchu, Nazca, or Puno. It's understandable considering Lima's reputation for heavy traffic and overall complexity. Unfortunately, most tourists only scratch the surface of what Lima truly has to offer, confining their experiences to the tourist bubble of Miraflores.
