Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Melbourne Travel Massive July kick-off at The Waterside on Flinders St for a great evening of World Cup football and travel industry banter.

New chapter leads Casey Mead and Justin Meneguzzi welcomed Melbourne’s travel and tourism community to the newly reopened Waterside Pub — a seven-level Flinders St icon dating back to 1925. Between big screens, cold drinks and plenty of World Cup replays, the ground-floor Public Bar made for the perfect casual meetup spot.

It was a great turnout, with a strong media contingent, and founders and representatives from more than 40 Melbourne-based travel companies, including 50 Degrees North, Bar Humbug Tours, Before You Book, CM Communications, England Rover, Filipino World Travelers, Fit City Tours, Hop It, Hotel.com.au, Hurtigruten, I Want That Flight, Local Way Tours, Luxury Escapes, Make-A-Wish, Rebecca and the World, Reho Travel, Rezdy, Rome2rio, Sienna in the Sun, Take Off Go, Travellerspoint, Unscrambled Studio, YouLi, and others.
