Hi, I'm Osamah, the founder of My Travel Choices from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The idea came from a problem I kept running into when planning trips. Most travel websites expect you to choose a destination first. But sometimes the real question is: Where can I go with my budget, available dates, and travel style?
I built My Travel Choices as a free bilingual website in English and Arabic. A traveler enters where the trip starts, total budget, trip length, rough travel dates, who is traveling, and what kind of experience they want. The website then ranks destinations, estimates the complete trip cost range, and explains why each option fits or does not fit.
Beyond discovering a destination from scratch, travelers can browse bilingual destination pages, compare places side by side, and use the trip-cost calculator when they already have somewhere in mind. This means the website supports both sides of the decision: finding suitable possibilities and checking whether a specific trip is financially realistic.
The estimates bring flights, accommodation, food, activities, local transportation, and a buffer together. It is not a booking service and the figures are not live quotes. The goal is to help people narrow their choices before spending hours researching destinations that may not fit.
With the MTC Group Trip Decision Room, start a group trip and share the link. Each person adds their budget and preferences privately. My Travel Choices brings those answers together to help your group choose a destination that fits.

The project is live and still improving. I would value feedback from the Travel Massive community. Is this decision-first approach useful? What information is missing? What would make you trust the recommendations enough to use them when planning a trip?
Not a bad idea, however there are many websites to find cheap flights by budget, even Google flights.
Moving forward, I would work a lot on your IA image and texts.
Thanks, Nacho! Maybe the visuals need a return trip to the drawing board 😄 I appreciate you being candid.
You’re right that there are plenty of tools for finding cheap flights. My focus is helping people decide where to go based on their whole-trip budget, understand costs beyond the flight, and choose together when travelling as a group. If that didn’t come across, that’s useful feedback on how I’m explaining it.
Was there a particular image or bit of wording that stood out? I’d love to hear what you’d change—or an example you think does it well. Honest feedback and practical suggestions are exactly why I wanted to share it here.
I also had a look at DiverDoo. Helping people discover and compare diving experiences is a great idea—there must be so many amazing spots people never think to look for. I’ve been diving a few times and loved it. Hopefully our paths cross somewhere, and you can take me to one of your favourite spots! 🤿
The AI image for Sydney is wild. A agree they need to be improved
Fair point, Ian! We’ve since reviewed the destination photos, replaced mismatched images and placeholders, and published the updated design. Thanks for flagging it.
We’re still in the early stages of the launch, and this is one of the reasons we’re here—to hear honest feedback from the travel community. We’re continuing to improve MTC, with more planned, so observations like yours are appreciated!
Great idea!
How do you monetize?
Which APIs are you using to get data from?
Thanks, Alex! For now, MTC uses researched travel-cost estimates rather than live flight or hotel booking APIs. Our focus is helping people choose where to go based on their whole-trip budget—including flights, accommodation, food, local transport and activities.
We’re still early in the launch and refining the product. We’re exploring relevant affiliate partnerships, but our priority at this stage is making the planning experience useful and reliable before building out the commercial side.
How have you approached that balance at Vibe Adventures?
