We launched an app "Quindío es Mío" for exploring Colombia's Coffee Region like a local

Hi, I'm César Camelo, an engineer and software developer with more than 20 years building digital products and mobile apps. Quindío es Mío grew out of my connection to Colombia's Coffee Region and a desire to help more people discover Quindío beyond the usual tourist routes, bringing together technology, travel, and local knowledge.

Quindío es Mío (Spanish for "Quindío is Mine") was born from a simple idea: to share the region we love in a way that feels close, useful, and real.

Quindío is a department in Colombia's Coffee Region, the Eje Cafetero, with its UNESCO-listed coffee landscapes, the towering wax palms of Cocora Valley, and colorful towns like Salento and Filandia.

However Quindío is more than coffee and postcard landscapes. It's small towns with their own rhythm, family-run places, mountain roads, local food, hidden viewpoints, nature reserves, living traditions, and people who make every visit feel personal.

With Quindío es Mío, we want travelers to discover all of that with more context and fewer clichés. The app helps you explore places, follow routes, navigate with maps, save your favorites, find events, and plan a trip that reaches beyond the usual stops.

And now, with our international hub and English content, we're opening that experience to travelers from around the world.

We're proud to share Quindío with people who are curious, respectful, and willing to explore it slowly — not just as a destination, but as a place with stories, communities, and a way of life worth discovering.
