My first time visiting Costa Rica (and Central America) so of course I'm eating my way in local street food! I tried chorreadas, caldosas, empanadas, chifrijo, tortilla con queso and more.

Great video! The Chifrijo and Olla de Carne looked delicious!

How strong is the coffee in Costa Rica? Does the brewing method make it taste different to espresso?

Thanks for watching! The coffee in Costa Rica is generally strong but depends from what region because the altitude affects it.

Brewing methods are more akin to compare with brewed/drip coffee. But I can't say much about the Vandola because that was the only time I had it.

At the coffee tasting in the video, we had different beans per each brewing method so it's not a proper benchmark. It would be interesting to try one variety of coffee across different brewing methods.
