About me

I am a huge advocate for sustainable travel, and have been lucky enough to travel to 100+ countries (mostly solo) to explore what sustainability means in different parts of the world. Most recently, I worked as a photographer for Airbnb and as a social media producer and editor for Thrillist where I pitched TikTok travel series and repurposed their youtube travel shows for short-form platforms.

I traveled to rural parts of Australia to promote a company called Tiny Away. While in Australia, I also volunteered to create free content for volunteer organizations that were fighting the 2020 bushfires, producing videos and photos for recruitment purposes.

I have a love for travel and have worked in various media-related positions around the globe. I have sailed around the world, lived abroad for nearly five years and have produced content for many international clients (to include Tastemade Travel). I've also done vanlife (twice) and have competing in international Ironman competitions and marathons. I was lucky enough to live in Italy for two years, Germany for one year, and work in the UK every summer, so I have spent a considerable amount of time working in Europe.

I also worked for three years as a Combat Camera Officer, which allowed me to live abroad in remote locations (like Djibouti, Africa) to document combat operations for months at a time. As a result of my work and the work of the team I led, I was recognized as Air Force Combat Camera’s #1 Company Grade Officer.
