Hi everyone, we’ve been working on travel alerts - notifications about things that can disrupt a trip, such as severe weather, airport closures, strikes, or health outbreaks. Each alert is tied to the specific destination it affects, so a traveller only hears about what matters for where they’re going.
We’ve started using this in our own trip planner Tripomatic. Along the way we’ve wondered whether it could also be useful to other travel businesses and apps. Would this be interesting for you? Would you use it? Any feedback is welcomed, even if negative.
I’d want to see the source and when the alert was last updated before passing it on to a partner. Do you also let people know when a disruption has ended?
