Photos from Opening Night in Bangkok: Travel Massive Welcomes ETF & Pangea

Thank you to everyone who joined our Bangkok Travel Massive’s ETF Opening Night as we welcomed the Extraordinary Travel Festival (ETF) to the city. More than 130 of the world’s most travelled people came together on the rooftop of the Paradox Bangkok Sukhumvit, connecting the ETF community with our local Bangkok Travel Massive members on the eve of the festival.

Now in its 3rd edition, the Extraordinary Travel Festival brings together four days of keynotes, panels, workshops and networking focused on extraordinary travel and adventure, running 22–25 October 2026.

Guests included Beijing-based Rachel Weiss, Digital Marketing Manager at Lost Plate Food Tours and creator of Rachel Meets China. We also welcomed Keith Van, Community Manager at seats.aero, from Vancouver, and YouTuber Jason Rupp from Pattaya.

Also joining us was Jaime Alemán, a Panamanian entrepreneur and diplomat, the first person in the world to visit all 193 countries, both Poles and space, and a keynote speaker at ETF. Jaime is now making a documentary film about his adventures.

We were also joined by Travel Massive chapter leaders Casey Mead from Melbourne, Tiago Relvao from Lisbon, along with Anne Somanas from Bangkok.

We finished the night with a lucky draw and gave away two Hanoi Secret Coffee tours from A Taste of Hanoi, a ticket to NomadWeek Cape Town thanks to Pangea, and a number of other prizes.
