Hi Everyone - Matt here. I'm thrilled to share the new launch of Pangea's Summer 2026 Release, and photos from our Global Launch Party last week which spanned 6 continents.

We're releasing a fully rebuilt version of Pangea including our new interactive profiles, travel visualizations, community groups, an updated explore view, and the debut of our Beta AI features for launch day participants.

We're also celebrating with our community with launch day meetups in 30+ cities across 6 continents from Sydney to Los Angeles!

🌍 Why I started Pangea

I've been to 123 countries in 12 years of full-time travel, and am on a mission to explore them all. I started Pangea because no other apps were fully solving the challenges I faced, and most of the ones that started disappeared after a year or two. I knew there must be a better way. We are far from perfect, but headed in the right direction to become the most comprehensive social travel, and have no intention of stopping anytime soon.

Pangea helps you discover where friends are traveling, connect with like-minded travelers, get trusted recommendations, and build a living map of everywhere you've explored.
