Researching for the ideal destination, accommodations, activities, and managing bookings can be a time-consuming and overwhelming task. Sifting through multiple websites, apps, and emails, can lead to information overload and the potential for missing out on important details. Additionally, staying organized and keeping everyone in the loop can be a challenging aspect, leading to miscommunication and potential conflicts.
Existing alternatives to address these issues include booking sites, various websites, and apps that provide different services for vacation planning, such as Google Docs, TripIt, and travel planning services. However, these options are often disjointed, requiring users to navigate multiple platforms, which can further add to the complexity and inefficiency of the process.
To make vacation planning easier and more efficient, we aim to provide a comprehensive solution that streamlines the entire process. We seek to develop a platform that combines research, management, and communication functionalities. By integrating all these elements into a single platform, users will have a centralized hub where they can research destinations, manage bookings, and collaborate with others in real-time.

My name is Kelsey and I am co-founder of this amazing web app.
I have loved traveling my whole life. While I like being spontaneous, I also enjoy being organized especially when more and more people get involved. We have implemented so many awesome features to help everyone plan with ease. We are continually working to make this app better and better each day. I am so excited for everyone to try it out!
From vacations and theme parks to festivals and weekend getaways, we have been up and down the eastern seaboard. One of the biggest hassles that we seem to face is being organized. Between planning trips and creating itineraries, it is nothing less than tedious to keep everything running smoothly; and when you add more and more people to the mix, you can forget about it.
A couple of years ago, we began to look for a solution to this problem. They have plenty of apps in the app store, but we were unable to find one that incorporated all aspects of the trip, and who wants 18 apps on their phone in order to stay organized? Not us!
Working closely with friends and family, we have been able to test the app to its fullest capabilities, using it to stay organized and in constant communication for the entirety of our trips. 1 year, 50 trips, and numerous tweaks and changes later, we think we have the solution. No matter if you are going to a new destination, camping in the wilderness, on a business trip, or having an event right at home, we have the answer you are looking for.

I just tried out Planned Adventure — it was pretty quick and intuitive to set-up, bravo! Here's a few quick bits of feedback:
1. I couldn't receive the verification code to my Australian mobile number (had to use my US number)
2. Is there a way to share an event via a link, instead of inviting via SMS?
3. Do you have plans for customizing the theme? (I think Material design could improve the overall UX)

AMAZING. I run a family travel community for over 17.5k engaged, adventure-loving parents. Over the past 5 years, thousands of families have planned and been on extended trips or family gap years - this app would be perfect for them. I'll take a look later as I'd love to see this come to life.
