I'm a Malaysian American based in New York since August 2008. Besides being an avid traveler, I also worked at the Malaysian Tourism Board in New York for over 8 years as their Information Officer. Q&ABesides being an avid traveler, I worked with Tourism Malaysia in New York, now with Remote Lands and would love to meet with fellow travelers to share travel stories.
What is your favorite travel destination?
Q&AToo many to mention, but I've always loved Amsterdam, Barcelona and Munich. My all time favorite is of course my hometown of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Where do you dream of traveling to?
Q&AI hope to eventually travel to Switzerland, Japan, Taiwan, Slovenia, Venice, Belgium, New Zealand and much more.
What was your first travel job?
Q&AI was a lifestyle and travel writer for Female (Malaysia) and Prestige (Malaysia) magazines.
What do you want to learn more about?
Q&AI would love to learn more about the different cultures of every destination I travel to, by experiencing their festivities, tasting their food, listening to their music and of course engaging with the locals.
