Hi! I'm Brittany, Chief Wanderer and Dessert-Eater at The Sweet Wanderlust, a travel blog for people with a sweet tooth and a taste for adventure.
In 2015, I left a Texas and a career in marketing to search for the world's best desserts and greatest adventures. In my search, I've visited 60 countries, and I'm not done yet! I moved to Lisbon, Portugal in 2021, and I'm having a blast exploring this incredible country!
I'm passionate about sharing unique activities, delicious desserts and epic itineraries with readers from around the world. I hope that my upbeat, bubbly personality comes through in my enthusiastic posts as I write about old favorites and up-and-coming attractions.

What was your first travel job?
Q&AI worked for a company that led tours, and went along to help with customer service. Since then, I've worked as a freelance travel writer, a documentation coordinator at Abercrombie & Kent, and plan educational group travel for universities visiting Portugal.
