Lesley’s career in branding spans over 15 years as a graphic designer, creative director and brand strategist, specializing in brand design and brand development for the travel and tourism sectors. Throughout her journey, she has worked at agencies and in-house in many sectors with clients from small businesses to global brands, including WestJet, Dell, Hyatt, G Adventures, Discovery Adventures by Discovery Channel and more. Uncovering a niche in tourism inspired Lesley to found her agency, Swell Impact.
Staying true to her love for travel, Lesley has worked with clients including Akwesasne Travel, East of 80 Travel, Cape Race Newfoundland, UnTours, UnCruise Adventures, Quark Expeditions, Planeterra Foundation, The Travel Corporation, Sustainable Travel International, The June Motel, Wendy Perrin of Conde Naste Travel and many more.
Upon completing a Master’s in Sustainability Studies, she brings a wealth of interdisciplinary knowledge to Swell Impact and all collaborative projects, where she intersects her skills in branding, sustainability, entrepreneurship and tourism to help leaders reimagine their brands as a force for good. She takes pride in shaping holistic and engaging brand stories that centre people, places, and a positive vision for the future.
