About me

Hi! I’m Callie, founder of Glow Well Travel, where I bring together tailored travel, wellbeing, and a more personal way of exploring the world. Retreat facilitator and integrative therapist. Pomeranian mum to Siena Luna, so always keen to seek out dog-friendly holidays. I love the travel industry’s power to open people up to new places, fresh perspectives, and those unforgettable moments that become part of their life story. I live in SW London, UK, 'tho my soul lives in Florence (Firenze), Italy.

Why did you join the community?

Travel innovation, networking in (and learning from) the travel industry worldwide

What is your favorite travel destination?

Italy is where my spirit feels most at home (we married in Florence, Italy), but more recently, we've loved exploring the Normandy region in France. Greece has so much to offer, as does Germany. Further afield, I have been blessed to visit India (Pune, Mumbai x 4) and there is so much to experience there off the usual tourist tracks.

Where do you dream of traveling to?

New Zealand. Thailand. Dominica. Orlando! (last year's business trip was cancelled due to medical reasons/not fit to fly *grrr*). Iceland. Canada. So many places ... and the more I research destinations for my clients, the more places get added to my list!

What was your first travel job?

Events management in a large hotel on the South Coast (1992) - gosh, that long ago?

What do you want to learn more about?

My passion lies in travel experiences that leave people feeling infinitely better than when they left - really nourished, restored, inspired, and full of lovely memories. I’m especially drawn to wellbeing-led holidays, restorative escapes, and experience-rich adventures because of my professional background as a therapist. More recently, I have been exploring more thoughtful and sustainable ways to explore the world.

Three words that describe why we should travel?

Connect. Restore. Live.
