A reminder: METAVERSE WILL NOT REPLACE PHYSICAL TRAVEL, on the contrary, it will increase the desire to explore the surroundings. That's what we're focusing our efforts on - to create an immersive travel inspiration source in a safe space.

I read your Manifesto over at wytland.medium.com/wytland-manifesto-f877c9b267a5 but it would be great to learn a bit more about the team, and some of your specific goals for your MVP launch.
I've seen a few metaverse projects come and go with big ambitions for sprawling multiplayer worlds. Can you shed a bit more light on the size and style of your metaverse, and how you're specifically designing it around a "travel" experience?

Our team has more than 10 years of experience in the travel and tech industry. Here's a short overview of our founders:
-> Kristofer (CEO): Serial entrepreneur with deep knowledge of the travel tech space. He has mentored tech startups in the travel & hospitality industry.
-> François-Xavier (COO): Founder with a focus on VR/AR and the culture and travel industry. He has a strong business development mindset focused on sales and marketing in digital environments. Also, FX - as we call him is a passionate traveller who moved more than 10 times in his 20s, FYI 😅
-> Jean-Vincent (CTO): Experienced software engineer with experience in developing applications for companies that are focusing on content creators and the creator economy.

For the MVP launch, we are launching our ecosystem in alpha for early believers. The focus is on decentralised travel communities for younger generations (but of course open to everyone). On our platform, you can connect with people through mini-games and earn real-life rewards. The focus is on getting feedback to ensure we are moving in the right direction. Later, we are looking to onboard travel content creators and travel brands into our ecosystem, but the focus is first on travellers.

Right now we are focusing on a small community before we scale. It's important that we validate product-market fit before investing in building a fully-fledged ecosystem. When it comes to style, if you refer to design, we are taking a more fun and engaging approach. Considering that we are targeting Gen Z, our experiences are immersive, interactive and fun.
Our ideal persona is Gen Zs who love to travel and share their stories with others to help inspire more people to travel. This group is tech-native, social media obsessed, bullish on web3 technologies, socially aware, and on the hunt for anything that feels real.
