Valueable Network is the European network of socially responsible companies in the hospitality industry.
Our goal is to promote the labour inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through targeted placements (apprenticeships and recruitment) in the hospitality sector. Each business can gain an internationally recognised label (bronze, silver or gold) depending on the degree of commitment demonstrated to the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in their workforce. Valueable also offers specific tools including:
🤳 An app for the trainees/workers with intellectual disabilities
💻 E-learning course for Placement Professionals, and one for hospitality managers
📹 Videos for valueable employees and an adapted version of HACCP safety system course
Over 120 businesses have joined the network, and our efforts have contributed to almost 300 work placements.
"Valueable" is present in 8 European countries: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, Austria and Croatia, and is funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Commission since 2014.
🏆 Second place winner 2022 at the Social Entrepreneurship Competition (socialtourismcompetition.com)
