Trove Tourism released their latest US Outbound Traveler survey report, with insights designed to help tourism boards more effectively connect with the American traveler.
Here's some great research from NYC-based Trove Tourism Development Advisors (trovetourism.com) which came my way last week.
Their team surveyed a randomized sample of U.S. travelers (aged between 21 and 35) who travel abroad in April 2025 to research planning habits, travel values, and preferences.
Here's a few interesting insights from the report:
• 59% of respondents rely on platforms like Instagram and TikTok for research. • 71% make most or all travel decisions (including booking) themselves. • 30% are solo travelers.
