I am a journalist, historian, travel writer and media producer based near Joshua Tree in the Mojave. I served as the former president of the state-recognized DMO for the California Desert Region and have produced visitor guides, magazines, radio shows, and travel TV shows. I've crafted tour itineraries and produced and led tours. My specialty is storytelling and media production across all platforms - print/digital, radio/podcast, video/TV, and social media, with a focus on culturally- and historically-based travel stories.
My companies currently offer custom cinematic 4K destination marketing videos and video production services. We are in pre-production for resuming Season 3 of our Southwest Stories travel series for national PBS distribution, Roku (and new Amazon Fire channel), YouTube, Vimeo, social media, and other platforms.
I have two historical documentaries broadcast on PBS stations and on the FNX (First Nations Experience) network.
