I'm a former gypsy turned homeowner, working as a freelance brand strategist and copywriter while looking out at the Sandia mountains (and thinking about my next destination).

When traveling, I prefer to housesit or rent apartments to be part of the community. Plus, I like to cook so having a kitchen grounds me. I'm also a strong advocate for traveling responsibly and supporting locals, putting money into their pockets vs. larger corporations. I'm a former Kiva fellow where I volunteered with an NGO in India that provided microloans exclusively to women in impoverished areas. I believe that empowering women benefits everyone.
