I grew up in a very remote village in the Dhading district of Nepal on the lap of the Himalayas. Ever since my childhood, I was very curious and fascinated by the mountains and my passion for them began to grow as I grew up. So, I came to Kathmandu Valley for further education and special training for trekking, tour, cooking, camping, and many more. More than 2 decades ago, I first started my career as a porter then gradually upgraded as a helper, assistant guide, junior guide, and then finally authorized guide after giving exams from Nepal Government. After that, I successfully became a guide/ tour leader in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and India. Similarly, my enthusiasm for sharing my love for traveling and learning new things with all the avid travelers all around the globe resulted in establishing Himalayan Trekkers, an adventure travel agency in 2009. Being raised in the Himalayas, I always wanted to assist people and actively participate in social activities. So I have been volunteering for different purposes such as education, health awareness, skill development, and women empowerment as well as helping the poor and needy.
