About me

I am a Cape Town-based tour guide and anthropologist. I have travelled throughout South Africa and internationally, and I love sharing our amazing country with visitors. I have a strong understanding of urban and conservation history, and am fascinated by the many cultures and peoples that come together at the southern tip of Africa.

Why did you join the community?

I am excited to meet other tour guides, learn more about what is on offer and grow as a tour guide.

What is your favorite travel destination?

Within South Africa, I love Zululand. Within the Western Cape, I love the South Peninsula as well as the mountains here. And in the world - wow, there are so many wonderful places - I absolutely loved Peru.

Where do you dream of traveling to?

I would love to visit Mexico, Vietnam and Chile.

What was your first travel job?

My first travel job was supporting a horse trail to Agulhas that consisted of 5 days on horseback. I was supporting the tour.

What do you want to learn more about?

I would like to learn more about marketing and also product development.
