About me

I’m a digital nomad and SEO analyst who splits her time between Barcelona and Zanzibar. I’m originally from Germany and Ghana and I love creating spaces where people can really connect, focus and grow together. One of those spaces is goldenweeks Retreats: a retreat project I started in Zanzibar to bring more structure, accountability and community into remote work.

Why did you join the community?

To meet likeminded people

What is your favorite travel destination?

Depends on the season and the mood. For me, places with contrast usually stick: cities with wild energy that you can escape from into silence within an hour, or landscapes where you feel tiny but grounded.

Where do you dream of traveling to?

I’d lean toward places that stretch the imagination. Patagonia for the raw edges of nature, or Japan for the mix of precision and chaos. Somewhere you feel both far away and oddly at home.

What was your first travel job?

So your first travel-friendly job was as an SEO analyst. Smart entry point. Remote by design, measurable results, and a skill every company needs. Not glamorous on the surface, but it buys freedom.

What do you want to learn more about?

I’d chase depth in two lanes: how humans actually sustain focus and creativity over the long run, and how cultures design rituals that keep community alive. Both feel tied to what you’re building with goldenweeks.

Three words that describe why we should travel?

Connection. Perspective. Renewal.

  • I'm a digital nomad. For four years, I had three unfinished projects sitting in Notion. Two notebooks full of ideas. An "MVP" that never reached anyone. Every six months I'd start over. New city, new burst of energy, new "this time it's different". And... show more
