My name is Johnny and I've been involved in the coliving scene since I first came across it by chance in 2018 in Bucharest, Romania. Back then, coliving was barely even a thing. Now, there are even dedicated websites specifically to help you find coliving spaces, see which ones are community-oriented, and now even a course on how to facilitate the communities within 😉
Long story short, I ended up staying at many coliving spaces and even opening and operating two of my own. At some point during that time I realized that there is a lack of educational resources specifically in regards to community facilitation for coliving spaces. Time and time again, I would go to a coliving space that promised certain things but failed to deliver. Some called themselves a coliving space when they were no more than just a serviced apartment. Others did indeed get it right and when I stayed at one of these places it was always amazing!
My vision is to help educate the coliving industry with my online course (link below) so that residents will have the best possible coliving experience.
