About me

Emma is an economist, ex-noogler, Glamping researcher and traveller, in the physical and storytelling globe. She has just obtained her Master’s in Global Management at The London School of Economics & ESADE Business School, landing to Australia to throw her CEMS graduation hat at the University of Sydney. Greek in origin, cosmopolitan at heart. Holding islander roots from beautiful Crete & Kastellorizo and feeling ‘local’ in London, Athens, Barcelona, Buenos Aires & Sydney.

Professionally and intellectually intrigued by Glamping and Consumer Behaviour in Tourism, she combined the two fields for her LSE thesis, creating the first segmentation and targeting academic study of the Glamping niche, based on traveller motivation. She is fervent believer in the potential of Glamping in the Mediterranean region and passionate admirer of upscale tourism offerings in The Outback & Australian coastline.

When not nerding about Glamping, she likes to sharpen her Digital Marketing & Communications skills, writing on business & creative stimulus, and, occasionally sharing her inner thoughts in public speaking invitations, such as in TEDx & Toastmasters. She loves all things wabi-sabi and dreams of making Glamping a catalyst for Greece’s growth & sustainable development.
