I work as Enterprise Development Manager with Failte Ireland, the Tourism Development Agency for Ireland. I have extensive experience of over 25 years in tourism and hospitality. I have been involved in a variety of tourism development projects from the Medieval Mile Kilkenny, to developing some of Ireland's adventure experiences and bringing these to life for consumers and buyers for sales platforms using 3D Virtual reality technologies, and creating B2B buyers Guides for Operators in Market. I have also led Industry sales missions and engagement with in-market platforms. Most recently my role is in leading the team that develops Industry capability building programmes and business supports that drive business sustainability and visitor experience personalisation and service.
I love to travel, meet new people and explore new territories, although I would have to admit I tend to seek more cultural travel opportunities than I do 'pure adventure'!
