This was a much harder exercise (no pun intended) than I originally thought. I've left out so many incredible runs but these are my favourites, with SanFran taking the gold medal.
I bloody love this run! It's a got a bit everything; fresh pine smell, crisp mornings, fellow runners, incline, decline, bison, an old Dutch windmill and the pièce de résistance: a beach at the end - if you make it down that far of course.
As you can tell, I love a coastal run - not only for the views but a swim after. If you want more info about any of these runs i.e. where to start, end, how long, hot tips etc, ping me.
Tell me your top 5 - different country for each!

Hi everyone!
We are headed to Costa Rica in Feb 2023 and would love recommendations for food & activities. We will be near San Jose & Monteverde for 10 days.
We are finally taking our son on his first international adventure, so feel free to throw in any tips for international travel with a 3 year old.
Cheers and thank you for helping us plan our next family vacation!
Hello Erin! San José is a pure city, there isn't much to do with children. Monteverde is very beautiful! I also recommend the area of Playa Hermosa and Los Sueños, which is an hour and a half from San Jose! Its a beach town and there are many activities to do such as canopy, ATV, Tortuga Island Tour, snorkelling. If you are interested, I recommend Costa Rica Royale, they can help you plan all that.
Thank you Paula! These are wonderful suggestions and I will look into them!
You're welcome!
