Odessia (odessia.com) just launched as an always-on AI travel concierge. You can text it and it will book hotels, flights and experiences for you. As it's IATA-registered, it books like a real agency and the launch post has had over 2 million views on X.
I'm curious, with the rise of agentic bookings, what hoteliers and travel startups think?
Is anyone already seeing bookings from AI agents?
Here's a good interview with Francis Davidson (founder of Odessia, and previously Sonder) from a few months ago:
And here's the X launch video that got 2 million views for anyone that missed it: x.com/FDavidsonT/status/2110417685486141697
I haven't followed the launch, but I am not convinced of agentic travel booking just yet 🤔
Cheers for sharing these to give better context Ian. Didn't want to share them for being spammy!
