Thanks to all our members who attended our Sydney Travel Industry Networking Evening to experience the brand new Caption by Hyatt which opened just a few weeks ago in Sydney’s Haymarket district.
Tucked around the corner from the Capitol Theatre, cabaret lights beckoned our attendees into the entryway of Caption by Hyatt’s entrance on Parker Street, nestled between Sydney’s Chinatown and Central Station.
Our group was warmly welcomed by Director of Sales and Marketing Peter Roach and General Manager Temara Exton who treated us to a welcome drink and a showing of the Talk Shop — a communal meeting space open to both guests and the community to meet, work, eat or relax. We enjoyed some social time in this warm and inviting area before small groups were given the chance to take a peek at the hotel rooms and gym.
The unique vibrant colours of Caption by Hyatt decor and design is complimented by commissioned artwork from several local Australian artists who designed in-room wall art and hand-painted room numbers.

Everyone was excited to get a behind the scenes look at this brand new property in Chinatown, Sydney. The event was thoughtful, well attended and a lot of fun!
