Spend winter in Cuenca with Nomad Pioneers
Working remotely is more enjoyable when you have people to share life with. Join Nomad Pioneers in Cuenca, Ecuador, from December 15, 2026 to March 15, 2027, and get to know the city alongside other nomads and remote workers.
We’re a travel club bringing people together for longer stays, friendships and local discovery. Founded by Matthias Zeitler, who previously founded Coworking Bansko and Bansko Nomad Fest, Nomad Pioneers combines an independent travel lifestyle with a ready-made community.
What to expect
- Meet other members through community gatherings, shared meals and social activities.
- Find people to work alongside, explore with or join for a coffee.
- Discover Cuenca through local businesses, guides and community connections.
- Keep your own work schedule and choose which activities to join.
Club membership includes access to the community, member-organized events and the Nomad Pioneers app. Accommodation, transport, meals and paid activities are separate. Tours and other paid local services are provided by local partners.
Location and schedule
Where: Cuenca, Ecuador. Gatherings take place at venues around the city, with individual locations and times shared in the members’ app.
When: December 15, 2026–March 15, 2027. Arrivals are flexible, and you can join for part or all of the season. We encourage joining during the first month so you can get to know the community from the start.
The app opens on December 1, with the first community event on December 18. Activities fit around working life, leaving time for your own plans.
