🌎 About the Competition
The Social Entrepreneurship in Tourism Competition is the first worldwide competition focusing on social innovation and entrepreneurship in tourism. It aims to address problems that are caused through tourism development and tries to find the best solutions to be implemented by the industry, governments, NGOs or local communities.
The structure of the competition follows the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include gender equality, sustainable cities and communities, and climate action.
The competition was founded by Professor Dr. Claudia Brözel and is supported by ITB Berlin, Berlin Travel Festival, the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde and Travel Massive.
